Photography should be the
                                        part of your
 wedding experience.

If you’re having an amazing time, that energy will shine through your pictures — and you won’t spend a single second worrying about what you look like, because you’ll be too busy actually enjoying the moment.

Then, when you look back on your wedding day years from now, you’ll remember how much fun you had, instead of how much time you spent perfecting the non-cringe smile, or how long you waited for your aunt to make her way to family portraits from the cocktail bar, or how you wished you’d had time to eat the hors d'oeuvres.

Which is why I’m committed to making sure your wedding photos feel easy.

My 80/20 Approach to

Using my background in journalism, my knack for finding the hidden moments that inevitably turn into your favorite photos, and my intuitive, emotional nature (I’m a Cancer… need I say more?), I capture 80% of your day exactly as it unfolds, and 20% of your day giving you direction for portraits, family photos, or any other “musts” on your list.

At every wedding, I blend an observational style with an editorial edge to ensure I document all of the little lived-in details and I give natural direction for the photos that are posed, so you’ll have a perfectly authentic wedding album that accurately depicts how your day truly felt.

from my clients

95% of the couples I work with feel uncomfortable in front of the camera before our session.

Here’s how we squash that fear:

Your job isn’t to know what to do in front of the camera — that’s mine! All you have to do is show up ready for a good time, and leave the rest to me. I have all the tricks up my sleeve to help you actually feel comfortable; not some weird, cringe posing tips that make you *look* comfortable.
